Shopping/Ordering FAQs

How do I add items to my shopping cart?

You can add items to your shopping cart by either using our search engine to find the item(s) that you wish to purchase or by browsing through our categories and/or our website. Once you find an item(s) you'd like to buy, simply hit the Buy Now button closest to the item(s) you are interested in to add the selected item(s) to your shopping cart. At this point, you can change the quantity of items you'd like to order, delete an item, empty the shopping cart, continue shopping, or check out.

 

How can I delete an unwanted item from my shopping cart?

You can delete an unwanted item from your shopping cart by clicking the "Remove" icon located within the shopping cart at the far right of each row.

 

Is the ordering process secure?

YES! Our website uses the latest 128-bit encryption technology to protect your personal information. Our ordering process is totally secure from beginning to end.

 

Can I add, change or remove items from my order after it has been submitted?

No. Once an order is submitted it can only be amended or edited by contact Digital Star customer service >>Help Desk. Once our warehouses have scanned an order, items cannot be added or deleted. Once any box from an order is shipped, the order cannot be voided.

After I submit an order with Digital Star, how will I be advised of the order's progress?

Digital Star will keep you informed of your order via e-mail. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once the item is shipped. You may also check our online order status page for live updates.

Payment FAQs

 

Why must Digital Star verify my shipping address?

For fraud prevention purposes, we need to be able to verify your order shipping address. Further verification process may be required if your billing address can not be verified in the White Pages. We can only ship orders with Credit Card payment to your billing address. We do not currently accept international credit cards at this time.

 

Can I pay for my order without using a credit card, and without paying online?

You certainly can! Selecting BPAY as your payment method will allow you to pay for an order, direct from your bank's phone banking or internet banking service. Alternatively, you can select Direct Deposit / Electronic Fund Transfer.

Both BPAY and Direct Deposit payments take 1-2 working days to reach us from your bank and your BPAY payment needs to be finalised within 5 days of purchase. Once your payment arrives, your order will be processed.

 

How can I find the BPAY payment details for my order?

You can find these information on your order confirmation email or just log in to My Account and select track Order History. You can then find the BPAY details for your orders.

 

Is Digital Star a secure website? What type of security features are utilised to safeguard my information?

Security is a top priority at Digital Star. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

When our registration/order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as your credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software currently available in the industry - SSL.

Does Digital Star offer any technical support or advice?

Digital Star only provides tech support for Digital Star Built to Order PCs. Digital Star does not offer any technical assistance for computer parts purchase. Please contact the manufacturers for accurate answers to your technical questions and for insight on how different products interact together.
